Youth & Junior Athletes

We believe in an athlete centred coach driven model. Many of our youth & juniors have come from various sports or are still currently involved in another sport while in training with the ETA. We offer part time fees for our Tri Skills Squad, and a flexible youth & junior development coaching program for those athletes who wish to stay with their current club and sample triathlon as a possible new sport. We do this as you don’t have to specialize so early in triathlon at the youth ages and Kevin prefers to get your run training from a combination of unstructured games or ball sports as well as structured run programming.

Many enquiries we have come from programs requiring 10-12 session per week commitments and wrongly assume the ETA will be the same. We will meet and discuss with any new parent a best practice model for the athlete that is fun, possible and sustainable for a child.

U23 & Senior Athletes

Athletes at this level are either graduating from the junior program or can compete competitively at a regional or national level in triathlon or in one of the three disciplines and can enhance the daily performance environment at the ETA.
